TAFIGEL® PUR 61 by Munzing is a non-ionic, VOC-, APE- and organotin-free polyurethane thickener. Used as a rheology modifier and associative thickener for aqueous adhesive systems. Exhibits good flow, leveling and gloss, very good atomization for spray application. Provides strong pseudoplastic rheological profile, very good shear thinning characteristics and high sag resistance.
- The viscosity is increased primarily in the low shear rate range, but without generating an elastic component that worsens the flow.
- TAFIGEL® PUR 61 has a shelf life of 15 months and a dosage level of 0.3-2%.
