SPUR+* 1012 Prepolymer

SPUR+* 1012 Prepolymer by Momentive Performance Materials is silylated prepolymer that does not rely on an isocyanate curing reactions. It is formulated without the use of phthalate-based plasticizers. In sealant formualtions, it can be used as a base resin or in combination with SPUR+* 1015 prepolymer to attain ultra-low modulus. This moisture curable resin offers rapid cure, good water resistance, high flexibility and excellent adhesion to construction substrate materials such as concrete, marble and glass. It provides high elongation while maintaining good elastic recovery and durability. It is suitable with one component systems and gives minimal surface tack after cure when formulated properly. It also provides excellent weatherability, water and UV resistance. It can enable the formulation of non-staining and paintable sealants. SPUR+* 1012 Prepolymer is used as co-binder for 25LM class sealants (ISO 11600).
