KURARAY POVAL™ 28-99 LA

KURARAY POVAL™ 28-99 LA by Kuraray is a water-soluble, low ash polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It is manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It exhibits Exhibits good penetration capacity, good cohesion and good adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. It influences the rheology of polymer emulsions including particle size distribution, viscosity, stability to stirring, freeze/ thaw stability, pigment compatibility and electrolyte stability. KURARAY POVAL™ 28-99 LA is recommended for adhesive for flooring webs, PSA labels and also in remoistenable adhesives which are employed mainly in the paper processing industry and films applications. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
