Dioctyl azelate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is an excellent low temperature dibasic acid ester. Compatible with chlorinated rubber, ethyl cellulose, nitrile and nitrocellulose. Monoplex® DOZ and Plasthall® DOZ are chemically same but differ in specifications. Offers excellent efficiency characteristics and has a tighter color specification. Used in gaskets applications.
