Drapex® Alpha 200

Natural-Oil based Primary Plasticizer. Drapex® Alpha 200 by Galata Chemicals (Artek) is cost competitive relative to conventional plasticizers and an excellent source of renewable carbon. Offers excellent performance characteristics and it is also readily miscible with conventional plasticizers. Suitable for a multitude of general and specialty flexible PVC formulations. Plasticized PVC compound shows substantially improved extraction, excellent low temperature flexibility, UV light stability, reduced amount of volatile organic compounds, enhanced process ability and exceptionally long decomposition time (by Congo Red method). Main applications of Drapex® Alpha 200 includes wall coverings. Enables qualification of PVC products for the USDA's BioPreferred Product Label.
