Versalink® 740 M by Evonik acts as a high performance diamine curing agent. It is a non-hazardous, off-white powder with wide processing latitude. It has a melting range of 125-128°C and should be processed at 140°C. It has a long pot life with excellent physical properties, chemical resistance and hydrolytic stability. Versalink® 740 M is used in mixed isomer liquid polyurethane prepolymers, epoxy systems, and two component-, industrial- & construction adhesives. It is a FDA dry-food contact approved grade. Suitable solvents include acetone (18%), MEK (10.6%), ethyl acetate (19.6%) and 2-ethoxyethyl acetate (19%).
