Tyzor® TOT by Dorf Ketal is an organic alkoxy titanate with approximately 100 percent active content. Acts as a catalyst and as an adhesion promoter. It is an effective lewis acid catalyst in processes such as esterification, transesterification, condensation and addition. Its benefits include elimination of by-products, increased yield, easy work-up, low catalyst concentration and low toxicity. Its typical reaction products include (meth)acrylic esters, polyester, plasticizers, various esters and polyurethanes. Tyzor® TOT can be used in silicone (RTV-1) and acrylic (solvent-based) system.
