DA-1450

DA-1450 by Dairen Chemical is a water-redispersible vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer powder which forms stable emulsion. It contains fine mineral filler as anti-block agent and polyvinyl alcohol as protective colloid. It is free of solvents, plasticizers and film-forming aids. It is soft and flexible, because of its relatively high ethylene content. It improves adhesion, flexural strength, plasticity and workability of modified compounds. DA-1450 is used in construction adhesives including tile adhesives, thermal insulation systems, repair mortars and mineral plasters. Its recommended dosage in thin-bed tile adhesives with good frost resistance is 1-5%, 2.5% for thermal insulation systems and 1.0-6.0% in mineral plasters & repair mortars. Its shelf life is 6 months.
