DA-1410 by Dairen Chemical is a water-redispersible vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer powder. It contains polyvinyl alcohol as protective colloid. It is soft and flexible, because of its relatively high ethylene content. It improves adhesion, flexural strength, abrasion resistance, water retention. This grade contains fine, mineral filler as anti-block agents. It is free of solvents, plasticizers and film-forming aids. DA-1410 is especially designed for blending with inorganic binders such as cement, gypsum and hydrated lime and as a sole binder for manufacturing construction adhesives. Recommended dosage rate in mineral plasters, more than 9 % for sealing slurries and repair mortars is 1-6%.
