Chiguard® 291

Chiguard® 291 by Chitec Technology is a white to off-white colored blend of bis(2,2,6,6,-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) decanedioate and N,N'-bis(2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl)-1,6-hexanediamine (synergistic blend of Chiguard 770 (LMWH) and Chiguard 944 (HMWH)). Acts as a ultraviolet (UV) light absorber. Suitable for efficient and long-term protection of polyolefins such as PP, PE, PP/EPDM and PP/PE/EPDM blends from the damage of UV radiation. Due to its synergistic effect, it is especially good for thick applications where the efficacy and long term protection are needed to be considered at the same time. The recommended usage levels of Chiguard® 291 is 0.1 to 0.6%.
