Chartsil C-505.1/ 2H

Chartsil C-505.1/ 2H by Chartwell International is a high concentration mercapto functional metal organic adhesion promoter absorbed upon a high surface area precipitated silica carrier. It is a dry free flowing solid which physically breaks down upon compounding (Banbury, Henschel, etc.) to release the active mercapto functional adhesion promoter. Offers increased T-peel strength and improved resistance to moisture, heat as well as corrosive environments. Chartsil C-505.1/ 2H is recommended for epoxy, urethane and rubber adhesives to enhance adhesion to metals, plastics as well as elastomers.
