RHEOBYK® -T 1000 VF by BYK is associative thickener (HEUR) for aqueous systems to generate a Newtonian flow behavior. It is easy to handle and reduces spattering during application. It improves processability, levelling, and storage stability.
- It increases viscosity in the high shear range while having an extremely low impact in the low shear range.
- It is used in dispersion adhesives that are based on acrylate binders, carboxylate styrene-butadiene latex and vinyl acetate copolymer binders, as well as in PU and vinyl acetate homopolymers.
- It is suitable for floor adhesives, wood & packaging adhesives, PSA systems and sealants.
- Recommended dosage level is 1-4% based upon the total formulation.
- RHEOBYK® -T 1000 VF has a shelf life of 18 months.
