RHEOBYK® -R 606 by BYK is a liquid rheology modifier for solvent-borne and solvent-free adhesives and sealants based on polyurethane, epoxy, and acrylate resins that contain pyrogenic silica or organophilic phyllosilicates.
- It reinforces the hydrogen bonds of the silica and phyllosilicates resulting in increased thixotropy.
- It achieves anti-sagging properties with improved levelling and air release properties even with low quantities of silica or phyllosilicates.
- Recommended dosage level is 5-15% based upon the pyrogenic silica or organophilic phyllosilicates (organoclays).
- RHEOBYK® -R 606 has a shelf life of 36 months.
