Natrosol™ 250 HX by Ashland is a fine powder, water soluble hydroxyethylcellulose. Offers compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural & synthetic gums, emulsifiers, defoamers. Used as nonionic thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier. Imparts very good flow properties. Performs in the emulsion and suspension polymerization of many vinyl polymers. Natrosol™ 250 HX is used in water-based tile adhesives, wallpaper, latex and plywood adhesives.
