Akrosperse® W-10104 by Akrochem is a thermoplastic terpene-phenolic resin-based tackifier. It is an aqueous dispersion primarily used for enhancing tack in water-based adhesive systems. It is developed for use with carboxylated polychloroprene latices. Akrosperse® W-10104 can be blended with latices that are neutral without any pH adulteration; e.g., carboxylated nitrile rubber latices and acrylic latices. Recommended for use with zinc oxide and an antioxidant. The use of heat can also improve the bonding process.
