Akrosperse® W-10003 by Akrochem is a thermoplastic terpene-phenolic resin-based tackifier. It is primary used for the enhancement of tack in aqueous systems and in contact adhesives. It is compatible with high pH polychloroprene latices. It can be blended with other elastomer latices which have a high pH without coagulation. Akrosperse® W-10003 is recommended for use with zinc oxide and an antioxidant. The use of heat can also improve the bonding process.
