Surfadol SE by ACME acts as a low foam wetting agent and molecular defoamer for water-based pressure-sensitive and laminating adhesives. It is a blend of 2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyne-4,7-diol and 2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyne-4,7-diol ethoxylate. It is a non-ionic acetylenic diol surfactant. It shows excellent reduction of equilibrium and dynamic surface tension. It exhibits low foam generation. It possesses excellent surface wetting including low energy surfaces. It is non-toxic, and silicone- & APEO-free. Surfadol SE is listed with TSCA, China (SEPA), Canada (DSL), EINECS/ELINCS, Australia (AICS), Japan (MITI), Philippines (PICCS) and Korea (ECL).
