All Wetting Agents for Adhesives and Sealants

NUOSPERSE® FX 9360 by Elementis is a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent. It is a highly branched copolymer containing multiple anchoring groups.

• It is suitable for dispersion of carbon black and organic pigments.
• It deflocculates pigments and prevents re-flocculation through steric hindrance.
• It reduces grinding time and mill base viscosity.
• It improves color development, hiding power, gloss and evenness.
• It is suitable for solvent & solvent-free type epoxy- and PU adhesives & sealants.
• The recommended dosage level is 20-40% for organic pigments and 50-150% for carbon black.
• NUOSPERSE® FX 9360 has a shelf life of 2 years.

TEGOPREN® 5840 by Evonik is a non-ionic solvent-free, easy to handle polyether siloxane. It reduces the surface tension of water-based systems. It enhances the spreading on non-polar surfaces such as polypropylene. It is compatible with cationic, anionic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants.

• It is recommended for the production of transfer labels and tapes sealant and adhesives or for laminating processes.
• Its recommended addition level is 0.1-0.6% for adhesive applications, 0.1-0.3 % to overcome defects or craters and 0.3-0.6 % for the wetting of critical substrates or an improved penetration.
• TEGOPREN® 5840 has a shelf life of 12 months.

Surfynol® AS 5080 by Evonik is a 100% active non-ionic organic super wetter and defoamer. It is based on patented gemini surfactant technology. It is a low viscosity, easy-to handle liquid that contains no added silicones, siloxanes, fluorosurfactants, alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).

• It is an excellent alternative for difficult-to-wet substrates requiring good flow and leveling under diverse application conditions.
• It provides improved formulation compatibility and ease of incorporation.
• It has the ability to reduce both equilibrium and dynamic surface tension.
• It can deliver exceptional performance in a wide variety of water-based applications.
• Surfynol® AS 5080 is used in pigment dispersion, flexible food packaging adhesives and pressure sensitive adhesives.
• The recommended usage is between 0.1 and 1.0% of total formulation weight.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.

Surfynol® AS 5040 by Evonik is a non-ionic, non-foaming dynamic wetting agent. It is suitable for waterborne adhesives applications. It is a 100% active, easy-to handle liquid that contains no added solvents, siloxanes, silicones, fluorosurfactants, alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). It provides surface tension reduction and enhances rapid penetration of absorbent substrates. It enables wetting of low-energy and contaminated substrates. Surfynol® AS 5040 is used in flexible food packaging adhesives and pressure sensitive adhesives. Its recommended usage is between 0.1 and 2.0% of total formulation weight. It complies with food contact regulations of US, Europe and Asia. It has a shelf life of 60 months.

ACH SN440 by Achiewell is an alkyl phenol ethoxylate (APEO)-, silicone- & solvent-free, non-ionic surfactant. It provides excellent wetting and foam control in waterborne systems.

• It is suitable for adhesives applications.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.1-3.0% of total formulation.
• ACH SN440 has a shelf life of 5 years.

ACH SN104 by Achiewell is an alkyl phenol ethoxylate-free, non-ionic surfactant. It provides excellent wetting under static & dynamic conditions and foam control in waterborne systems.

• It is suitable for adhesives applications.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.1-3.0% of total formulation.
• ACH SN104 has a shelf life of 5 years.

ACH SN420 by Achiewell is an alkyl phenol ethoxylate (APEO)-, silicone- & solvent-free, non-ionic surfactant. It offers excellent wetting and foam control in waterborne systems.

• It is used in adhesives applications.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.1-3.0% of total formulation.
• ACH SN420 has a shelf life of 5 years.

ACH SN465 by Achiewell is an alkyl phenol ethoxylate (APEO)-, silicone- & solvent-free, non-ionic surfactant. It offers excellent wetting and foam control in waterborne systems.

• It is suitable for adhesives applications.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.1-3.0% of total formulation.
• ACH SN465 has a shelf life of 5 years.

MARK IC 2052 by Raj Speciality Additives is wetting- and dispersing agent. It is recommended for adhesive and sealant applications. Recommended usage level of MARK IC 2052 is 20% based on organic pigment, 5.0% inorganic pigment and 1.5% titanium dioxide.

MARK IC 2053 by Raj Speciality Additives is wetting- and dispersing agent. It improves the dispersion of all conventional filler such as calcium carbonate and aluminum hydroxide. It is suitable for adhesive applications. It reduces the viscosity of filled resin allowing a higher filling level. Recommended usage level of MARK IC 2053 is 0.5-3% inorganic pigment and 2.5-5% organic pigment.
