MasterSil 170 Gel

MasterSil 170 Gel by Master Bond is a two component, low viscosity, addition curing silicone material for sealing, potting and encapsulation. It exhibits excellent optical clarity, extreme softness, very low shrinkage upon cure, low exotherm, very long pot life, and transmission properties. It contains no solvents and will not outgas while curing. It does not require exposure to air for complete cross-linking.
- It has a convenient ten to one mix ratio by weight and can cure in thicknesses beyond 1 inch.
- It withstands severe thermal cycling and resists vibration, shock, gamma radiation, ETO and various chemical sterilants.
- It offers high temperature- and water resistance and superb electrical insulation properties.
- Upon curing, this silicone gel is transparent and is capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -67°F to +392°F.

Enables offline/inline converting, high catalysed bath stability, high catalyzed bath stability, versatility and good anchorage. Silcolease® Emulsion 902 is used in association with the catalyst Silcolease® Emulsion catalyst 903 and, if necessary a release control additive, Silcolease® Emulsion RCA 954 and Silcolease® Emulsion Crosslinker 966.
