Polyurethane (PU) Resins for Adhesives and Sealants

ULTRAOLS™ P1010 by Macroocean is a linear, saturated, aliphatic amorphous polyester polyol.

• It is designed for manufacture of moisture curing, reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesives (PUR).
• It exhibits high adhesion to PBT, PC, PVC, PMMA, ABS, PS and wood.
• It has adjustable opening time and setting time.
• It improves initial adhesive strength to different substrates.

WANNATE® HT-400 by Wanhua Chemical is an aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It can be used as a reactive thinner or a hardener. It is sensitive to moisture.

• In two-component polyurethane system, it is widely used combining WANNATE® HT-100, HT-600 and IT-170B with hydroxy polyacrylate as ideal reactant.
• It can be used as single binder or other polyisocyanate mixture.
• It can be thinned with esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methoxypropylacetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha 100.
• It shows good compatibility with aliphatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols, aromatic polyisocyanates and polyacrylates.
• WANNATE® HT-400 is recommended for automotive applications.
• It can be stored for at least 6 months at temperatures between 0 and 30°C.

WANNATE® HT-100 by Wanhua Chemical is a low viscosity, solvent-free aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It offers high weather resistance, very good gloss retention, high chemical resistance and outstanding mechanical properties.

• It can be used as a hardener and is sensitive to moisture.
• It can be thinned with esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methoxypropylacetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha 100 and mixtures.
• WANNATE® HT-100 is compatible with aliphatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols, aromatic polyisocyanates and polyacrylates.
• Recommended for adhesive applications.
• It has a shelf life of 15 months.

Pearlbond™ 920L distributed by Bjørn Thorsen is an plasticizer-free thermoplastic polyurethane. It is a translucent resin with excellent color stability upon UV exposure. It is suitable for processing by slot dye extrusion, blown extrusion, melt blown, roll-coating and gravure.

• Provides enhanced UV resistance and durability, ensuring consistent performance and protection against environmental elements.
• It exhibits excellent adhesion to various fabrics and offers high wash resistance.
• It delivers high hydrolytic resistance, good recovery, and breathability.
• Pearlbond™ 920L is recommended for hot melt adhesive applications in seam tapes, webs, and furniture edge banding, ensuring reliable bonding performance.
• It is used in textiles, interlinings, heat-transfer labels, footwear and non-food conveyor belts.

WANNATE® HMP-100 by Wanhua Chemical is an aliphatic diisocyanate prepolymer based on polypropylene ether glycol.

• It is raw material for polyurethanes 2K elastomer and binder systems.
• Offers good mechanical strength, light-stability and weather-resistance.
• Exhibits low viscosity for easy production of complex parts with good surface definition.
• It is sensitive to moisture.
• Recommended for adhesives and automotive applications.
• WANNATE® HMP-100 has a shelf life of 6 months.

WANNATE® IT-100 by Wanhua Chemical is a cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate based on isophorone diisocyanate. It is a solvent-free material and supplied as pellets. It is light-stable and non-yellowing grade.

• It has especially been developed as an isocyanate crosslinking agent for 2K PUR adhesives.
• It is also supplied as 70 pbw. solutions in various solvents.
• It is soluble in all types of conventional non-protic solvents.
• Solvents containing compounds able to react with isocyanates such as alcohols, amines and water must be avoided.
• The water content of any solvent used should be less than 0.05%.
• It is used in automotive and adhesive applications.
• WANNATE® IT-100 has a shelf life of 12 months.

WANNATE® TT-150B by Wanhua Chemical is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate in 50% in butyl acetate. It can be used as a hardener and is sensitive to moisture.

• It can be thinned with esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methoxypropylacetate, acetone,methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene and solvent naphtha 100.
• It shows good compatiblity with aliphatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols, aromatic polyisocyanates and polyacrylates.
• WANNATE® TT-150B is recommended for use in automotive applications.
• It can be stored at least for 6 months.

WANNATE® TL-75E by Wanhua Chemical is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate. It is a colorless or pale yellow liquid with a solvent-like odor. It can be mixed with the aliphatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols, aromatic polyisocyanates and polyacrylates. It is used in combination with various hydroxyl-bearing substances to formulate two-component polyurethane coatings and adhesives. WANNATE® TL-75E is FDA complaint and has a shelf life of 6 months.

WANNATE® HT-790B by Wanhua Chemical is an aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and dissolved in 10% n-butyl acetate. It is recommended for use in automotive applications.

• It can be used as a hardener and is sensitive to moisture.
• It offers high resistance to chemicals and weathering, very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties.
• It can be thinned with esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methoxypropylacetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene and solvent naphtha 100.
• It shows good compatibility with aliphatic polyisocyanates, polyester polyols, aromatic polyisocyanates and polyacrylates.
• WANNATE® HT-790B has a shelf life of 9 months when stored at temperature between 0-30°C.

WANNATE® HB-75MX by Wanhua Chemical is an aliphatic biuret polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It is dissolved in 25% of 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate (MPA) and xylene (1:1). It is recommended for use in automotive applications.

• It can be used as a hardener and is sensitive to moisture.
• It provides high resistance to chemicals and weathering, very good gloss retention and outstanding mechanical properties.
• It can be thinned with esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methoxypropylacetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene and solvent naphtha 100.
