Organofunctional Silanes

Dynasylan® GLYMO by Evonik acts as an adhesion promoter, crosslinking agent and/or surface modifier. It is a low viscosity bifunctional organosilane, 3-glycidyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane with a slight terpentine-like odor. It is an essential ingredient in sealants and adhesives, as a primer or additive. It can be used with epoxy, phenolic, PU, PVAC, acrylates and polysulfides. Provides improved mechanical properties like flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength and modulus of elasticity. Offers improved moisture and corrosion resistance, improved electrical properties such as dielectric constant and volume resistivity. Improves processing properties such as filler dispersion, rheological behavior like viscosity reduction and newtonian behavior, increased filler loading and non-yellowing properties. It is registered with DSL/NDSL, PICCS, TSCA, IECSC, ENCS, ECL, EINECS/ELINCS, AICS and REACH. Dynasylan® GLYMO has a minimum shelf life of 12 months.

Dynasylan® DAMO by Evonik is based on N-2-Aminoethyl-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. Acts as an adhesion promoter. Offers improved flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength and modulus of elasticity. Provides improved moisture and corrosion resistance. Dynasylan® DAMO is listed in EINECS/ELINCS, AICS, DSL/NDSL, PICCS, TSCA, IECSC, ENCS, ECL and REACH. It has a shelf life of minimum 12 months.

Dynasylan® AMEO by Evonik is a 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane grade. Acts as an adhesion promoter, crosslinker, and/or surface modifier. Provides improved mechanical properties like flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength and modulus of elasticity. Shows improved moisture and corrosion resistance. Possesses improved electrical properties like dielectric constant and volume resistivity. Offers better filler dispersion, rheological behavior like reduction in viscosity, Newtonian behavior and higher filler loading. Dynasylan® AMEO is listed on EINECS/ELINCS, AICS, DSL/NDSL, PICCS, TSCA, IECSC, ENCS, ECL and REACH. It has a shelf life of minimum 12 months.

Dynasylan® 1124 by Evonik acts as an adhesion promoter and surface modifier with excellent crosslinking properties. It is a secondary aminofunctional methoxy-silane possessing two symmetric silicon atoms. It provides improved flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength, modulus of elasticity, moisture-, heat-damp-, and corrosion-resistance.

Dynasylan® VPS 1262 by Evonik is a coupling agent between inorganic materials & organic polymers and adhesion promoter. It can also act as a latent crosslinker. It is a bifunctional organosilane possessing a blocked amine and hydrolyzable inorganic ethoxysilyl groups. It is ideal for one component i.e., 1K epoxy products, phenolic resins, polyurethanes, silane modified polymers, acrylics and MS polymer. It improves moisture- & corrosion resistance, flexural-, tensile- & impact strength and modulus of elasticity. This product displays durability at high temperature, improved humidity & chemical resistance and excellent primeless adhesion. It is used in adhesives and sealants. The shelf life of Dynasylan® VPS 1262 is 12 months.

Dynasylan® AMMO by Evonik is a 3-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilane grade. Acts as an adhesion promoter and a surface modifier. Dynasylan® VTMO by Evonik is a vinyltrimethoxysilane-based moisture scavenger, surface modifier, crosslinking agent, and adhesion promoter. It improves abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, tear and fracture resistance, and memory effect.

Dynasylan® 1146 by Evonik is a diaminofunctional silane-based adhesion promoter. It exhibits very good wetting on substrates and forms weather-, heat-damp- and moisture-resistant bonds to substrates with difficult adhesion properties.

• It provides improvement in elongation and modulus.
• It offers low VOC, low color, improved mechanical properties, water resistance and low yellowing.
• It is used in adhesives and sealants to improve adhesion of amino-reactive resins such as silicones (RTV), two-part urethanes, silylated urethanes, MS polymers, two-part epoxies to inorganic surfaces, plastic surfaces, as well as inorganic fillers.

Dynasylan® 6498 by Evonik is an oligomeric siloxane. Used in adhesives and sealants. Acts as an adhesion promoter, dispersion and hydrophobation agent in mineral filled compounds. Provides improved filler dispersion, good processability, highly reduced water-uptake, very good balance between tensile strength and elongation at break at a high level and improved chemical resistance. Offers benefits such as strongly reduced tendency to stress cracking, higher impact strength and higher abrasion resistance. Listed with EINECS/ELINCS, PICCS, TSCA, IECSC, ENCSC and ECL. The minimum shelf life of Dynasylan® 6498 is 12 months.

Dynasylan® MEMO by Evonik is a 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane grade. It functions as a crosslinker, co-monomer for the synthesis of polymers, surface modification, and adhesion promoter. It offers the best possible dispersion of the fillers and pigments and reduces their tendency to settle. It delivers decreased viscosity, enhanced resin flow characteristics, and enhanced mechanical qualities of the molded products. It has increased chemical resistance, mar resistance, and wet adhesion strength. EINECS/ELINCS, AICS, DSL/NDSL, PICCS, TSCA, ECSC, ENCS, ECL, and REACH all identify Dynasylan® MEMO as an approved substance. It has a minimum shelf life of six months.
