VOELPKER launches a new effective formaldehyde scavenger for suppression of chain degradation and formaldehyde release to protect against POM degradation.
POM is a recyclable material and can be used to produce a wide range of products, such as automotive parts and electrical components. Recycling POM is already thermally and mechanically pre-stressed and is therefore most notably prone to degradation and releasing formaldehyde. This is particularly true for the homopolymer.
