Adhesive promotor and cross-linking agent. Can be used in solvent cements to promote adhesion to fabrics. Also improves cross-linking or resistance to deterioration of elastomers used as binders. Vanchem® HM-4346 by Vanderbilt Chemicals is soluble in aromatic solvents, chlorinated solvents and acetone. Insoluble in water.
