Petrac® Stearic Acid 270 by Valtris Specialty Chemicals is a high quality, light color external lubricant and viscosity depressant in rigid PVC processing. It acts as an activator, plasticizer and dispersing agent in rubber compound processing. It is also used as a thickening- and gelling agent for greases in combination with alkali or alkaline earth metal hydroxides. Petrac® Stearic Acid 270 is used in manufacturing metallic stearates, esters and other derivatives. Petrac® 230 by Valtris Specialty Chemicals acts as an external lubricant. It offers good metal release properties and allows fusion of the PVC compound.

Petrac® Stearic Acid F-300 Prill by Valtris Specialty Chemicals acts as an activator, dispersing agent and plasticizer in rubber compounding. It is recommended as an external lubricant and viscosity depressant in rigid PVC processing. It is also used as a thickening- and gelling agent for greases in combination with alkali/alkaline earth metal hydroxides.</br>

It provides excellent external lubrication, increased gloss, and good metal release during processing. It is primarily suitable for rigid PVC applications that require consistent performance under high shear conditions. Additionally, it is used in food packaging applications in accordance with FDA Code of Regulations; Subpart B 176.1620. Petrac® 215 is listed in NSF/ANSI International Standard 14 ? Plastics Piping System Components and Related Materials. Petrac® 165 by Valtris Specialty Chemicals is a synthetic alpha-olefin wax for use in rigid PVC compounds. It delays fusion, lowers melt viscosity and provides metal release during processing. Petrac® 165 finds application in building and construction, film and sheet, packaging and consumer goods, transportation & wire and cable. Paraffin/oxidized polyethylene/calcium stearate wax blend. Acts as a lubricant. Used in rigid PVC compounds as well as pipes to control external lubrication and fusion.
