UPM Circular Renewable Black™

UPM Circular Renewable Black™ by UPM is a renewable, detectable, bio-based functional filler in rubber and thermoplastic compounds. It offers excellent thermal stability during recycling confirmed by melt flow index (MFI) and oxidation induction time (OIT). BioMotion™ X20

BioMotion™ X20 by UPM is a bio-based, semi-reinforcing functional filler with more than 94% renewable carbon. It offers 90% lower carbon footprint compared to standard furnace carbon black. It is 100% electric insulating and prevents electrochemical corrosion. It can replace fossil-base highly carbondioxide intensive carbon-black and precipitated silica. It is clean and free of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). It is 25% lighter than conventional fillers with higher material-efficiency and better fuel economy. It exhibits strong interaction and reinforcement in polar rubbers such as NBR, AEM, ACM, and FKM, as well as non-polar rubbers like EPDM, SBR, or NR. It is used in extrusion and injection molding applications. Suitable for elastomers, TPE, TPV, and plastic applications. BioMotion™ X20 is recommended for automotive weatherstripping, hoses, seals, interior, exterior plastic parts, and other industrial rubber applications. Complies with Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1272/2013.
