MIN-U-SIL® 5 by U.S. Silica is Fine ground silica. Acts as a semi-reinforcing filler. In comparison to synthetic silicas, MIN-U-SIL® 5 offers an increased shore durometer, improved thermal conductivity, increased density, improved oil resistance, reduced shrinkage and high dielectric strength. It allows very high loading with minimal effect on viscosity and cuts rate versus synthetic silicas. Has an acid-resistant durability, chemical inertness along with consistent color, purity and size distribution. In comparison to other natural minerals, it provides dispersibility, moderate and near neutral pH as well as an improved chemical resistance. Used for rubber and epoxy. Fine ground silica.
