TOYO-TAC® PMA-L by Toyobo is widely used as an adhesion promoter to PP substrate. It is a chlorine-free environmental friendly grade. TOYO-TAC® PMA-L shows good adhesion to polypropylene and metal substrates. This additive is easy to be melted on substrates at low temperature. It is available in Europe and North America. TOYO-TAC® PMA-EB3 by Toyobo is polyolefins grafted with maleic anhydride. It shows good hot melt adhesion power to polyolefin, PET, PA, steel, metal and EVOH and good compatibilizer between PP/PA, PP/EPDM, PP/PC. It is also a good coupling agent for glass fiber, talc or inorganic-fller reinforced and mineral-filled PP. It has high content of maleic anhydride and contain less impurities (low molecular weight olefins, maleic acid) in the technology. TOYO-TAC® PMA-EB3 is a compatibilizer for polypropylene combination with wood-fiber and fiber-reinforced plastics.
