MERPOL® A

TERATE® HT 5502

TERATE® HT 5502 by Stepan Company is an aromatic polyester polyol for hydrocarbon blown PIR laminate systems requiring higher acid number. It exhibits improves flammability and physical performance. It delivers burn performance in industry testing, forming char with minimum shrinkage and high weight retention. It improves ease of processing during rigid foam production and adhesion to various substrates. It helps to reduce flame retardant loading and smoke development in polyurethane and polyisocyanurate rigid foam formulations. TERATE® HT 5502 can be used as a partial replacement of traditional polyether polyols with minor formulation adjustments.
