STEPFAC™ 8172 by Stepan Company is a phosphate ester of an alkylphenoxy polyethoxyethanol. It is used in high electrolyte systems. They can be used as a compatibility agent in liquid fertilizer systems. They can also be incorporated into many emulsifier blends. STEPFAC™ 8172 is recommended for use in plastics.
