LOWILITE® 22 by SI Group is 2-hydroxy-4-octoxybenzophenone. Acts as an ultraviolet light absorber. It is effective in polyolefins, low and high density polyethylene, polypropylene and olefin copolymers such as EPR, EPDM and EVA. LOWILITE® 22 by SI Group is also designed for polyvinyl chloride, polyesters, natural & synthetic resins, polystyrene and ABS. LOWILITE® 55 UV absorber by SI Group is benzotriazole-based ultraviolet light absorber. It possesses high degree of photostability. The photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy. <br>

It can be used alone or in combination with other stabilizers such as antioxidants, thiosynergists, lactones and other light stabilizers. It is FDA approved. The shelf life of the product is 3 years. LOWILITE® 234 UV absorber by SI Group is benzotriazole-based light absorber. It is suitable for applications involving high temperature processing due to its low volatility. This additive is compatible with PET fibers & films, polycarbonate, POM, nylon and TPE compounding. It is FDA approved. The shelf life of LOWILITE® 234 UV absorber is 5 years. LOWILITE® 28 UV absorber by SI Group is benzotriazole-based ultraviolet light absorber in the 290-400nm region. It is compatible with polyolefins, PVC, unsaturated polyester, acrylics, ABS, thermoplastic urethanes, moisture cured polyurethanes, two component epoxies & urethanes and oil alkyds. LOWILITE® 28 UV absorber provides effective light stabilization and prevents the yellowing and degradation of polymers. The shelf life of the product is 3 years. LOWILITE® 26 UV absorber by SI Group is benzotriazole-based light absorber. It is used in polyolefins and polyester resins. This additive is FDA approved. The shelf life of LOWILITE® 26 UV absorber is 3 years. 2-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone-5-sulfonic acid. Acts as a UV light absorber. Can be used in polymers for the stabilization of coatings, photographic films and lithographic plates. Synergistic mixture of hindered amine stabilizers. Acts as a very good UV stabilizer. Used particular for PP thick sections, where it offers very good surface protection. Also shows high stabilization in PP tapes. Areas of application are PP, PP/EPDM, PP/PE/EPDM blends (TPO’s) and PA. The synergism between the high and low molecular weight HALS guarantees maximum protection for the polymer, against UV degradation as well as long-term heat exposure.
