SEESORB 712 by Shipro Kasei Kaisha is a
2',4'-di-tert-butylphenyl 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoate. Acts as an UV absorber. It absorbs short wave UV light (?max 267nm). It works synergistically in combination with hindered amine light stabilizer and exhibits an excellent performance. SEESORB 712 is compatible with almost all synthetic resins especially for PE and PP. Complies with FDA 178.2010. SEESORB 709 by Shipro Kasei Kaisha is 2-(2-hydroxy-5-tert-octylphenyl)-2H-benzotriazole. Acts as a UV absorber. Exhibits low volatility so it is suitable for engineering plastics such as PC or PET, and plastic lenses. SEESORB 709 is compatible with almost all synthetic resins.
