The most widely used general purpose accelerator for CR.
It has a medium speed of vulcanisation.
Has a good compression set and general physical prpperties.
Can activate thiazoles strongly in sulphur vulcanisation.
Used in general purpose moulding and extrusion compounds.
Robac TMTM by Robinson Brothers has General purpuse secondary accelerator, much safer processing than TMTD. Doesn't vulcanise rubber in the absence of elemental sulphur. Robac TMTM is used in tyres and IRP. Also used in mercaptan-modified CR, along with DOTG and sulphur in circumstances where ETU is not acceptable.
Robac LATU by Robinson Brothers is Active liquid thiourea readily incorporated into adhesive formulations. Medium speed of vulcanisation. Robac LATU is used in CR, adhesives and doughs.
