Rhenogran® MMBI-70 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a non-staining anti-oxidant for vulcanizates based on natural- and synthetic rubbers. It shows synergistic effects in combination with other antioxidants. It acts as a retarder on CBS, MBT, thiuram and dithiocarbamate accelerators, hence increases processing safety and storage stability of the compounds. It reduces the modulus and contains EPDM as a polymeric binder. It is suitable for all kinds of transparent, white and colored rubber articles, fabric proofing, formulations including ultra-accelerators, heat resistant mixes without sulfur. Rhenogran® MMBI-70 has a shelf life of 2 years.
Rhenogran® MBI-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a non-staining anti-oxidant for vulcanizates based on natural- and synthetic rubbers. It is also used as a synergistic for other anti-oxidants. It provides the vulcanizates with some protection against copper and manganese poisoning (rubber poisons). It gives better results in combination with dithiocarbamate and thiuram accelerators. It contains EPDM as a polymeric binder. It is suitable for rubber articles which have to withstand oxygen and steam, heat resistant products, white, colored, and transparent articles of all kinds, fabric proofing. Recommended dosage level as an anti-oxidant is 0.6-1.5 phr, for steam-resistant grades is 2-3 phr and for transparent grades is 0.4 phr. Rhenogran® MBI-80 has a shelf life of 2 years.
Rhenogran® ZMMBI-50 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a non-staining anti-oxidant for vulcanizates based on natural- and synthetic rubber such as SBR, IR and NBR. In combination with other anti-oxidants, it provides synergistic and outstanding protection from rubber poisons. It affords good protection against oxidation and contains EPDM as a polymeric binder. It is suitable for transparent, white and colored rubber goods, e.g. home and leisure articles, fabric proofing and toys. It is also applicable for goods that must withstand heat when used with thiuram, but little or no sulfur. Rhenogran® ZMMBI-50 has a shelf life of 2 years.
