POLYBRIGHT 01004 by Plastiblends is an optical brightener masterbatch carried in a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) resin. It enhances brightness by absorbing UV (ultra-violet) wavelength and re-emitting it in visible range. POLYBRIGHT 01004 improves brightness and shine of films & fibers. Offers improved gloss, shine and color of reprocessed materials. Reduces yellowness of reprocessed material and regrinds. Used in extrusion, PET preforming, multi filament (POY), mono filaments and polyester staple fibers. Applications include reprocessed PP (polypropylene) and PE (polyethylene) resins.
