Glycerol ester of synthetic resin. Acts as a tackifier. It enables hardness, high softening point, excellent solvent release and adhesion. It is compatible with nitrocellulose and offers grease resistance. It is insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons. It complies with US FDA: 21 CFR 175.105, 21 CFR 177.2600 and 21 CFR 176.210.
