Methyl ester of wood rosin. Acts as a tackifier. It enables clarity, high refractive index, high boiling point, low vapor pressure and good thermal stability. It has excellent surface wetting properties, viscosity and tack. Used in rubber compounds. It complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 21 CFR 175.300, 21 CFR 175.380, 21 CFR 175.390, 21 CFR 175.210, 21 CFR 175.1210 and 21 CFR 175.2600 regulations.
