Graf+® 20-B-ENG

Graf+® 20-B-ENG by NeoGraf Solutions is an expanded natural graphite made by intercalating natural graphite flake with acids and then heating to drive off the intercalants. Provides excellent thermal & electrical conductivity, chemical stability and high purity. Possesses excellent lubrication properties. Offers high surface area, low Scott density resulting in a low percolation threshold and high compressibility. In extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam boards, addition of as little as 1-3% expanded graphite improves thermal insulation value, acts as an ultraviolet light UV stabilizer and gas barrier. It also acts as a nucleating agent during foaming and modifies the rheology of the blowing agent-laden polystyrene melt and reduces the amount of static on the board surface during the shaping process.
