Nanocyl (Birla Carbon)

About Nanocyl (Birla Carbon)

Nanocyl SA was established in 2002 in Sambreville, Belgium, and has become a recognized leader in industrial scale multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) production. Utilizing its patented CCVD (Catalyst Chemical Vapor Deposition) process, Nanocyl delivers high purity MWCNTs optimized for polymer additive applications. Nanocyl’s MWCNT additives bolster polymer performance across multiple dimensions: electrical conductivity (including ESD and EMI shielding), mechanical properties, thermal conductivity, and multifunctional reinforcement. Their portfolio includes standardized masterbatches in HDPE, PVC, TPU, as well as solvent borne and water borne dispersions and epoxy resin concentrates tailored for both electrical and structural enhancement of plastics and composites.
