<b>HS0840B</b> by Mitsubishi Chemical is a biomass-based linear polycarbonate diol (with hydroxyl groups at both ends). It easily reacts with isocyanate compounds (such as MDI, TDI, IPDI, H<sub>12</sub>MDI) and generate polymers with superior characteristics. Exhibits very high chemical (oleic acid & ethanol)- & abrasion resistance, higher mechanical properties, very high hardness, similar non-crystallinity & handling, higher elasticity & breaking strength and lesser flexibility at low temperature in comparison to 16HD polycarbonate diol. Possesses weather resistance & hydrolysis resistance and offers and durability. <b>HS0840B</b> is suitable for polyurethane, acrylic resin and polyester resin applications. Used in artificial leather (synthetic), waterborne urethane, thermoset & thermoplastic elastomers (TSU & TPU), urethane acrylated & diacrylated compounds & resins and polyester elastomers (TPEE).
