ELASTOMAG® 170 by Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties is micronized and highly reactive magnesium oxide. Acts as a vulcanizing or scorch retarder in a variety of elastomers. Also acts as a thickening agent as well as an acid acceptor. Can also be used as anti-caking agent. Recommended for halogenated polymers (as acid acceptor), sheet and bulk molding compounds (as thickening agent). ELASTOMAG® 100 by Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties is magnesium oxide.
