Cross-linking co-agent for radical polymerisation of vinylmonomers, as hardener for PVC plastisoles, curing agent in peroxide cured synthetic rubbers, additive in adhesive.
Polymerizes at increased temperature (radical donors e.g. peroxides/azo compounds accelerate the polymerisation process).
Weak ester-like odour.
Soluble in ethanol, diethyl ether, ketones, esters, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbones.
