Sildon 270 by KCC Basildon (Momentive) is a mold release agent with greater durability than standard dimethyl polysiloxanes. This solution of a modified siloxane polymer is dilutable in aliphatic hydrocarbons with low shear mixing. It possesses excellent resistance to oxidation and to most chemicals. Sildon 270 is effective for the de-molding of rubber and plastic parts from metal molds. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
