Calwhite™ by Imerys is untreated grounded calcium carbonate. It offers improved mechanical, rheological, optical and dispersion properties. It is used in thermoset as well as in unsaturated polyester resins. Calwhite™ has good brightness and broad particle size distribution which makes it excellent low-cost filler for glass-reinforced polyesters and other applications where high loadings of a fine particle size filler are required. It is used in film polyolefin, rubber and SMC/BMC.
