HYDREPEL® by Goulston Technologies are masterbatch hydrophobic additives. These products alter the contact angle & impart extreme hydrophobicity and alcohol repellency.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is available in two grades: one for spunbond and the other for meltblown webs.</li>
<li>Each grade is compounded with the correct PP carrier resin for excellent extrusion processing and fabric performance.</li>
<li>Adding HYDREPEL® to polypropylene spunbond, meltblown and spunbond-meltblown-spunbond (SMS) fabrics imparts excellent repellency against water, ethanol and isopropanol for medical barrier and roofing barrier applications.</li>
<li>It also provides softness to polypropylene fabric and maintains hydrostatic head (HSH) and tensiles.</li>
<li>It has years of proven performance on REICOFIL® 2, 3 and 4 lines, and can optimize the cost and performance of your barrier fabric.</li></ul>
IV Enhancers from Goulston are chain extenders. They allow the use of lower cost feedstock for fiber spinning. These additives have proven success in rPET staple and filament applications. They are useful in a variety of PET recovery and extrusion applications.
