CR- 4 by G H Chemicals is a zinc oxide. High brightness, high refractive index and relatively fine particle size. Insoluble in water, solvents and neutral oils but soluble in both strong acids and alkalis. Has chemical properties which impede the growth of fungi, wildew and mold. Also, used in rubber as a reinforcing agent adding durably and abrasion resistance. In plastic, it provides excellent UV stability and resistance particularly in outdoor weathering polypropylenes.
