ANCAMINE® (Polymer additives)

ANCAMINE® T by Evonik is a crosslinking agent based on N-(2-hydroxy ethyl)diethylene triamine. Acts as an ambient or elevated temperature curing agent for use with liquid epoxy resins. Possesses light color, low viscosity, high reactivity and reduced skin irritation compared with unmodified aliphatic amines. ANCAMINE® T is used in electrical potting and encapsulation.
ANCAMINE® DETA by Evonik is 98.5% minimum purity grade of diethylenetriamine-based unmodified curing agent in encapsulation. It has a strong tendency for carbanation. It is used in the modification of aliphatic amine curing agents. The shelf life of the product is 24 months.
ANCAMINE® K54 by Evonik is a crosslinker based on 2,4,6-tris (dimethylaminomethyl) phenol. It is an efficient tertiary amine activator for epoxy resins cured with a wide variety of hardener types including polysulphides, polymercaptans, aliphatic & cycloaliphatic amines, polyamides, amidoamines, dicyandiamide and anhydrides. ANCAMINE® K54 by Evonik is used in casting and laminate applications.
ANCAMINE® 2049 by Evonik is a curing agent based on unmodified cycloaliphatic amine used to cure epoxy resins at elevated temperatures.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is designed for use in large composite structural parts where longer pot life is required.</li>
<li>It is suitable for processing by resin infusion, filament winding, wet lay-up laminates, resin transfer molding and prepreg.</li>
<li>It offers low viscosity, a longer pot at moderate temperatures and excellent mechanical properties following elevated temperature cure.</li>
<li>It is used in structural composites like larger pipes & composite fittings, wind blades and tanks as well as casting and tooling.</li>
<li>ANCAMINE® 2049 has a shelf life of 24 months. Recommended usage level is 32 phr.</li></ul>
ANCAMINE® TEPA by Evonik acts as a crosslinking agent. It is a standard commercial grade of tetraethylene pentamine. It is less corrosive and has a lower vapor pressure and is also less hygroscopic & less prone to carbamation. ANCAMINE® TEPA exhibits extended pot life and less tendency to blush compared with other unmodified aliphatic amines.
ANCAMINE® 2014AS by Evonik is a modified polyamine curing agent. Used in composites and small potting applications. Offers long pot life. Provides rapid cure above their temperature of activation and good adhesion.
ANCAMINE® 2450 by Evonik is a cycloaliphatic amine crosslinker. Used in filament winding, wet lay-up laminating and potting compounds. Offers higher glass transition temperature. Possesses low viscosity and good toughness.
ANCAMINE® 1110 by Evonik is dimethylaminomethylphenol-based catalyst. Designed for anhydride cures in castings and laminates and epoxy/polysulfide.
ANCAMINE® 2205 by Evonik is a phenol-free, curing agent. It is an accelerated modified aliphatic amine curative intended for use with liquid epoxy resins in two-part ambient or low-temperature cure systems. It acts as an accelerator for other amine-based curing agents. It offers rapid cure and property development. It possesses fast low-temperature cure. ANCAMINE® 2205 has been designed for use where rapid thin film cure or reduced temperature cure is required. Recommended shelf life is 24 months. It has a usage level of 50 phr at EEEW=190.
ANCAMINE® 2337S by Evonik is a modified aliphatic amine, a latent curing agent for epoxy resins. It offers very rapid reactivity, rapid green strength development and excellent shelf stability in undiluted resin at elevated temperatures. It provides good adhesion and easy dispersion in liquid resins. It is recommended as the sole curing agent or as a DICY co-cure accelerator with Ancamine® 2014AS and Ancamine® 2014FG. It is used in potting applications. Recommended shelf life is 24 months. it has a usage level of 45 phr at EEW=190.
