VS-172 by Ecopower Chemical is vinyltris(2-methoxyethoxy) silane (content is greater than 98%). Acts as a coupling agent. It enhances the electrical specification and mechanical strength of EPDM (filled with inorganic filler), cross-linked polyethylene and its polymer or resin. Its performance is especially remarkable under hygrometric state. It can be used as the surface treating agent for pottery clay and siliceous inorganic filler, added using the co-fixing method. It also improves the mechanical strength under hygrometric state of cross-linked or inorganic fillers and compound materials like polyesters. It reduces the water absorbability, electric specification and mechanical strength of cross-linked polyester molding materials. Additionally, it can be used to enhance the cohesive force of resins like fiber monofilament and polyester, and performance under hygrometric state of compound materials. It has a shelf life of one year.
