PLATALUX E by Eckart is a special effect pigment. The extraordinary sparkle combined with a champagne-colored shade leads to pronounced glitter effects in pure colors or in combination with transparent color pigments and dyes. It exhibits excellent temperature stability (of more than 300°C). It provides additional options for designing amazing color effects which are even more spectacular in transparent plastics like polyester or clarified-PP. It is compatible with all standard polymers such as polyolefins (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP and PP-copo) as well as engineering plastics like PET, PS/SAN, PC/ABS and PA. PLATALUX E is ideally suited for high-value applications like artificial leather and cosmetics packaging. It has a shelf life of 36 months. PLATALUX F by Eckart is a champagne-colored special effect grade. The extraordinary impressive and elegant sparkle of PLATALUX origins from it silver coated glass substrate. It possesses excellent temperature stability (of more than 300°C) and provides pronounced glitter effects in pure colors or in combination with transparent color pigments and dyes. Offers additional options for designing amazing color effects which are even more spectacular in transparent plastics like polyester or clarified-PP. It is compatible with all standard polymers such as polyolefins (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP and PP-copo) as well as engineering plastics like PET, PS/SAN, PC/ABS & PA. Suitable for decorative plastics applications. PLATALUX F is ideally suited for high-value applications like cosmetics packaging and luxury consumer goods as well as for high-quality artificial leather, fashion and lifestyle products. It is not categorized as a Dangerous Good according to IATA-DGR, IMDG-Code and ADR Regulations.
