Talc. Acts as filler, anti-block agent, extender and isolating agent. It is colorless or white and shows pearl luster in its cleavage surface. Talc -A is acid proof and exhibits good lubricity, flame resistivity, insulativity, high melting point, chemical inactivity and good hiding power. Has a tendency to split into flakes due to its layer structure. It is soft with good luster and has strong absorbability. Used mainly in rubber. Can also be used in cables and paper. Talc.
