Formulators and process engineers sourcing TDI for flexible foam applications can now factor a significant shift in Covestro's production infrastructure at Dormagen into their supply chain assessments. 

The company is investing a low double-digit million Euro amount in a new steam compressor that will recover waste heat generated during TDI manufacturing and redirect it into active production processes.
